PSO accomplishes what very few games do, allowing you easy access to everything from weapons to your spell palette and communication fetures to even understand other languages.
What happened to Pioneer 1? What happened to the people on Ragol? Are there any survivors? What caused the explosion? These are some of the questions you will find the answers to in the game PSO. It will be your responsibility to find the answers through a series of missions and report your findings to the Principal on board Pioneer 2.

The game is great, unfortunately it suffers from thin storylines and poor ending. The missions are decent, but short. So what makes PSO an awesome game? The online play. The online play is addicting and the communication system is well thought out.Unlike other online games, Pso contains an instant messenger system, that allows you to search for other players and simple mail them with ease. This is all accomplished through the creation and exchange of guild cards. Each player has their own guildcard which they exchange with fellow players, allowing them to search, simplemail or meet the user. This system makes it convient to find friends and make allys. Other forms of communication are symbol chat and short cuts which help the game go faster, especially when caught in battle. The most uniquie feature is the translator. The simple press of the y button opens up the translator system, allowing you talk or understand fellow players who speak in different languages.

PSO accomplishes what very few games do and utilizes every possible aspect to get out of the DC controller, allowing you easy access to everything from weapons to your spell palette. In many ways, it is like Diablo, containing features such as the free roam, map and vault to hold any extra items or meseta(money).

One of the best features of the game is the character customization, which can range from class to class. You can choose from a varity of faces, hair colors, skin tones, hair styles, height and girth. Making the feeling of bringing a charcter to life, all the more real.

What also makes the world come to life despite a few glitches, is the graphics. Beautifully rendered backgrounds make you feel as if your in another world. Next time your strolling through the Ruins, stop for a moment and enjoy the view from the underground window.

Despite lack of a strong story and mediocre offline play, PSO is an awesome game and well worth adding to your RPG collection. If your looking for an awesome online game, this is it! You will be drawn in and become a PSO addict in no time. This is a game to look out for, hopefully the sequel will live up to the first.
