DcD Affiliate Program |

Our affiliate program works a lot
like other sites'. We exchange links with other
websites in order to reach new visitors with the
same interests. DcD has been ad free since it opened
in 1999 and we hope to keep this streak going. We
do however accept small image buttons as links to
your website in the size of 88x31. If you choose
to affiliate with DcD you will be given a spot on
every page with a text link appearing everytime
and a randomly selected image which will be displayed
below. In return we ask that you link back to us.
You can also link to a particular section and still
earn refferal points as well.
To prevent cheating on both parts we set up a simple
script that will allow all the sites to get appropriate
respect for the amount of visitors they refer. We
do not have site trafic limits because we believe
that there might be a lot of sites out there that
are worth teaming up with that might not particularly
be getting the hits they deserve. Thus we decided
to base this on a Refferal Point system.
The Refferal Point system is very simple. Each time
a uniqe visitor will click a link from your site
to DcD you will be given a point. The more points
you have the higher on the list your site will show
up. Each time someone clicks on a link from DcD
to your site a point will be deducted from your
score. This way things should balance out for both
sites. As of now we will be listing the top 5 sites
on every page. The rest of our affiliates will be
listed on our Affiliates page which can be accessed
from a link on every page. Who knows if the competition
gets fierce we might bump it up to top 10.
Our guidelines are not very strict but there are a few
of them to simply make it fair for everyone.
• Your site must be video game related. Warez, hacking sites, and other non-gaming sites will not be accepted.
• We are a E rated site so any inapropriate
websites with offensive content will not be accepted
• Your website should have a crisp and clean layout, offer something interesting
and should be updated frequently.
• Although not necessary, we prefer websites with their own domain names.
• The DcD Staff will have the final say on whether you qualify

like to join us please send
us an email roughly outlining your website along
with the site URL and contact info so we can reply
back to you. If you get accepted you will get your
own affiliate acount created with a load of Refferal
Points to get you started.
